BMX bikes give good performance in racing either on road ramp or on dirt ramps. These bikes have 18 to 24 inches of wheels. Some of the road bikes are particularly made for men. These bikes are made up of lightweight aluminum frame with smooth tread performance tires. For comfortable ride, the 24 inch bike has high profile alloy vitesse racing rims. For smooth pedaling, the bike is provided with 21 gear shifting system and for sure and safe stopping power, alloy brakes are given.

I picked up the same bike this weekend and it snowed. It will just have to sit in my trainer for the next six months. I made the switch to this after fifteen years of using my converted mountain bike as a city cruiser. Best of luck with the rig.

This is what I got as a first bike. I am 5'7. This bike is great beacuse it is pretty light, you can put both feet on the ground and easy to learn on! Don't forget to take the MSF course.
I'll try to answer though I'm not the best source when it comes to cruisers or beach cruisers.
The sites I know of may be commercially driven, I normally just refer to these first, plus I do not know of any sites with independent reviews purely dedicated to cruisers. Maybe some specialist forums or groups may help. Anyway, bike mags do cover most types of bikes with some brands that have cruisers as well:
Online bike mags: mountainbike.com (US), bikeradar.com (UK), bicycling.com.
Online shops: beachbikes.net, chubbycruisers.com
some brands you might want to look at:
sixthreezero, phat cycles, electra, nirve, hampton cruisers, – these are cruiser specialists
raleigh, schwinn, are some old classic brands with some cruisers in their current line.
You can try searching "singlespeeds", as they are another 'category' of bicycles that also includes cruisers.
