I am 36 yo and I recently got a 20" Haro Sport but I have been advised that a 24" Cruiser (haro sx, SE floval flyer) would be a better option for me. More stable ! What is the best 24" BMX for the money please (I intend to use it on the track and a few jumps) Many thanks J

This is one of the top of the line boats built. They are quality and about as trouble fre as any boat. The Mercruser engine is a good choice for fuel economy, but I'm sure you will not think so, after running fullbore for just a few min. It can use 30 gph at full throttle. Keep your speed to 22-24 MPH and engine rpm at say 2700. and watch both your load, no extra gear etc. , and trim tabs/drive trim. Start out with tabs, full up, and drive up just slightly from full down. Throttle up to full and then pull back as soon as your on plane. Then you can play with th tabs if you like, but be careful. If you,ve never used tabs before you need room to learn. Keep the bottom clean, pressure wash at least 2 times a year. I like before 7/4 and again in Aug. Good Luck!

My suggestion is to take it to a bike shop they usually charge around $10.00 to $15.00 to true a wheel. Spokes are a complicated thing and if you have no experience with them I don't suggest that you mess with them even the slightest adjustment can untrue a wheel leaving you with bad wheel wobble.
get rid of the electric bilge pump and have a manual one o yes makes perfect sense.

if you need that specific bike just check online every so often and if need be have it shipped to you.. ive bought 2 bike off of craigslist and they work great.. and very inexpensive also.. just be patient and look

i have up for sale a early to mid 90’s FREE AGENT 24″ cruiser. build very well and VERY SMOOTH. Had CHRIS KING headset, BUILT wheels, , Crupi sealed FLIP FLOP hubs, with alloy nuts and alloy spokes(VERY NICE AND TRUE). alloy powerlight cruiser bars. 3-piece cranks( i believe dotek arms and Primo bottom bracket) tires are older and grips are torn. been sitting but wants to be ridden and raced again. dont have any pictures yet but will soon.. email or call if interested 8177706465. thanks Brandon-

Bikes with 24 inch wheels are made for kids that are 5 foot tall or shorter. You want a 26" wheel with a 17" frame.

Nice boat. For additional lighting without any difficulty, try going to a camping equipment store and getting a few of those round, battery operated, push to turn on lights. They don’t cost much, have removable paper backs which exposes the sticky part and you can just stick them anywhere. Especially up in the V-birth area. They’re powered by one AA battery and can make life a bit easier. Get a couple of solar powered yard lights, and they will recharge your batteries every day. Happy sailing.

the original size for the bmx was 26″…. 20″ and 16″ were modification for the youngest people. then became standard sizes.
