Birdy Folding 24 Bike , Your True Compact Travel Companion
Launched in the year 1995 by the award winning German design firm Riese and Muller, the Birdy 24 bike are lauded in the international market because of their innovative design and performance. The revolutionary dual suspension design of a Birdy folding bike introduces that smoothness to each ride that is otherwise characteristic of expensive full-sized bicycles only.
The Birdy bicycles fold in less than 30 seconds without the use of any tools. With the folded size of a Birdy bicycle being some 30" x 23" x 11", it is quite easy to store them in small places and carrying cases. The lightweight frames (mostly weighing around 24 lbs) make the Birdy bikes very portable.
The different gearing options, firm framing and dual suspension design of Birdy folding bikes render them suitable for being used for many purposes other than commuting. Use them for pleasure rides and touring as well as for sporting use.

Information about getting, maintaining and riding 24″ bikes
I have made maybe a dozen of these and handed them out to friends, They work great, no moving parts, if a jet gets clogged, poke a pin in and your ready for the next burn. Tough enough for a lot of of rough use!
If you had over $3,000 to spare, what would you do with it? Component vendor OCZ Technology hopes that you’ll spend it on one of its new, massive 1TB Colossus Series SSDs. The 3.5-inch drives, which come in a sleek lightweight aluminum design, were originally expected earlier this year, but were delayed for undisclosed reasons–until now. OCZ’s Colossus Series SSDs are available in a variety of capacities, starting with a $550 120GB model. Colossus Series drives are also available in 250GB and 500GB capacities, with the top-end model offering 1TB of storage. The 1TB Colossus drive is the first solid-state drive (SSD) to pack in such a high capacity. However, the luxury of speed and space comes at an extreme price, with the high-end model costing a massive $3,300. That said, despite the immense price tag, PC Perspective deems the SSD a worthy contender, commending its impressive read and write speeds. You can check out the Colossus Series’ full specs on OCZ’s official site. Follow…
They are not similar designs. The Genius is an aggressive AM kind of bike with 6 inches of travel, and the NRS is an XC/trail bike with 3.5. The back leaning seat tube on the Genius allows it to met with the down tube several inches above the BB, which makes Space for the pull shocks. You wouldn’t want that kind of setup on XC bike. I would imagine that one absorbs bumps more efficiently and the other delivers torque to the back wheel more efficiently. I’d take the NRS up the hill and the Genius Back down. Scott didn’t use this suspension design on the Spark for a reason.
The Scott website calls it a “trail” bike, which is somewhere between all mountain and XC
MTBR also puts it in the all mountain category because XC bikes don’t have 5.9 inches of travel. http://www.mtbr.com/cat/bikes/allmtn-full-suspension/scott/genius-mc-50/PRD_413145_1547crx.aspx

Well, an AutoCad machine can do some of that…but you're talking about some serious engineering equipment…seriously, the software alone can run you up to 10 grand…
And that's not including the specialized equipment you'd need.
And the training (this isn't point and click stuff…people who know how to use CAD software make very good money doing so).
Oh and getting it to do aero-tests…well, you're going to find yourself in search of an investor or two at that point.
Don't mean to rain on your parade…one of my very good friends teaches CAD…after doing it for a living for quite a while. He's made a good living for himself with that stuff, but he's never found anyone other than a corporation who could afford to implement it….

The program would be huge, the time to add in all the veriables. As well as you would have to add in every concevable veriable. It would cost way to much money and it wouldnt be able to fit on one cd. Now if they designed a xbox (or whatever ) to just do the one game of creating you own car it could be done that way but then it limits the xbox. So the answer is : it wouldn't be cost effective
Coming from someone who spent $850 on a stroller – don't do it. I didn't really start using it until just recently (she's 16 months) because my daughter and I both preferred to use a sling or wrap. Even now she really doesn't like to be confined to a stroller but still loves riding in the sling or just walking on her own…
Both of those strollers you mentioned are quite cumbersome. Once you get all of the accessories for the Orbit (extra toddler seats, etc) it costs way more than $900. Yes, the toddler seat can be used as a car seat and stroller seat but those are extra things you need to buy. The uppababy is cheaper but is quite heavy – go to the stores and test both out before you make any decision.
If you are set on buying a stroller and getting an expensive one than get a bugaboo or a maclaren. Neither have a car seat but do you really want to buy your carseat from a manufacturer who specializes in strollers and baby furniture? Out of maclaren and bugaboo maclaren is better because they fold up nicer and are very light. Bugaboo has two separate pieces and I still don't know how to fold the stupid thing.
I also suggest not getting an infant car seat – start with a convertible car seat, rear facing, one that lasts until 45-60 lbs. If I could do it all over again I would have only bought our convertible car seat and bought a maclaren (or similar umbrella stroller) that can be used after about 6 months. Prior to six month it is much easier to just pop baby in sling and go.

The 2009 370Z Coupe is Nissan’s latest attempt at tapping into the pure essence of the sports car: two seats, a great chassis, good suspension design and enough power to get the job done. And on the whole, it’s a thrilling success. With a new 3.7-liter take on the VQ V-6 engine rated at 332 horsepower, the 370Z isn’t lacking in the ponies …

I know your question is simply where to get that bike, and for that I can't help you.
I would ask- no- plead that you reconsider buying that bike. I design bikes for a living and personally know the way that bike came to fruition. Even though you wouldn't ride the bike a lot the times that it will be ridden will be problematic at best. The reason you can't find the bike is because nearly 90% of them have been returned to the retailer which in turn are mostly returned to the distributor.
If you want your son to be happy AND safe I encourage you to spend the same amount of money that may have been used for his cell phone and game console/games combined. Nobody that I know of has ever risked their life by riding a Wii or Nintendo and you should remember that when buying a bike.
There are many road bikes out there today that are perfect entry level models that don't cost a lot of money but will still keep your boy SAFE and HAPPY. Visit or call as many local bike shops you can and discuss your needs.
Noice!
